Most childcare facilities are licensed or registered through the state’s Early Childhood and Family Support Division at Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS). Environmental Health conducts pre-operational and annual renewal health inspections for licensed Child Care Centers. Renewal inspections are unscheduled, you do not need to contact us to begin this process.
