5-2-1-0 Let’s Move! Missoula believes that every child, family, and person should have the opportunity to live a healthier life. MPH adopted the initiative as 5-2-1-0 Let's Move! Missoula to organize projects, events, and partnerships within the Missoula area to promote positive lifestyle choices for children and adults.
We help make sure that everyone has access to places and things that promote good habits for staying healthy. 5-2-1-0 is a daily guide that stands for:
- Eat five fruits and vegetables
- Limit screen time to two hours
- Engage in pysical activity for one hour
- Consume zero sweetened beverages
Activity calendar
To facilitate healthy movement, 5-2-1-0 Let's Move publishes a monthly calendar of free and low-cost (less than $5 per person) in the Missoula area.
Get involved
Attend a meeting
We’d love to collaborate! The steering committee meets every other month on the second Friday of each month at Missoula Public Health from 12 to 1:30 p.m.
Volunteer
Let’s Move! is currently looking for volunteers for the Midday Move active recess program! Midday Move is an active recess program happening at 3 local elementary schools. Studies show that having a caring adult at school can help prevent suicide and overdose later in life. You can meet other volunteers, get outside and have FUN!
